I love Pottsville, a bustling county seat nestled in between mountains. The old buildings telling a story of inhabitants long forgotten. Mahantongo Street is one of those clear reminders of class hierarchy. Breathtaking mansions sit on top of the hill, overlooking the blocks of row homes below. Some are now neglected, the craftsmanship still evident despite the peeling paint and sunken eaves. While a good number are carefully maintained and retain their unique beauty.
